Lady in Water

As usual M. Night Shyamalan's movie is something different. A total medley of horror, suspense, and a touch of humour is found in this thought-evoking movie. The movie is based on a bedtime story about a nymph-like creature called a Narf and her quest to find her target person for the 'awakening' that will change the course of our world for the better. With the evil crunt and the justice wielding monkeys, it is really something different. Another great movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Definitely a must see for everyone.

Long week....

Been along and busy week. Too much to write and too much to describe. I'll sum it all in one picture.

This is the writing on my cake before it promptly ended up on my face.

I don't think people envy me at all...

People Envy Your Confidence

You have the attitude and self esteem to take on anything. Failure is beyond not an option for you - it doesn't even cross your mind.
People envy your ability to take on any challenge ... and they're secretly afraid you think you're better than them. You don't. You're just sure of yourself.

Uh oh

A sudden, all-too-familiar feeling is resurfacing, I know that feeling. My fingers become lumps of lead and my mind blanks. Yeap, I'm feeling the laziness of blogging again. What? After how many posts? I certainly hope the feeling passes or this is gonna be another dead blog. Well, at least it won't be lonely. It'll have so many of my other blogs to accompany it.

Anyway, while I'm here I might as well write something. I had a rather surprising day. I woke up this morning all moody and out of sorts because my new sem began began this morning and I was complaining alot about not having enough holidays. I had a ten day break while so many of the other students got two months so I guess I had the right to complain. As usual I was being too much and I think my coursemates were itching to slap me for whining about my hols. The suprising part is that I actually enjoyed my first day. It started off with some good heart to heart crapping since some of us arrived early and found out the first class was cancelled. Then we gossip and made fun of our juniors, happy that we are now second year students and so over the akwards moments of being the new ones. Then after that I had some interesting classes. Had some basic immunology, microbial infection and pharmacology. Interesting. Yeah, it was interesting hearing about the various modes of getting drugs into the human body. (Wait till you hear the one about the rectal mode.) So interesting I couldn't resist closing my eyes and contemplating it all. So interesting that I.... I slept. At least for a while. Right in the bloody front row. Under the lecturer's eye. Yeap, I enjoyed my first day.

Dr. Clark Kent

Had another late night yesterday. Finally reached home at about four in the morning after gaming with friends. Anyway, I watched superman returns too yesterday. What do I have to say? I found it to be just average at best. I grew up watching Dean Cain as my superman and somehow Brandon Routh simply didn't do it for me. And... there is one scene in the movie that I simply found to be too much. After rescuing Lois Lane, superman uses his x-ray vision to scan her and simply states,"She's going to be fine." What the hell. Since when is his alter ego a doctor? His knowledge on the human anatomy must be so complete to be able to carry out a diagnosis in that manner. My salute goes to Dr.Clark Kent. I'm out.
